SNGKNG is a zine that documents abandoned furniture in Seng Kang, a young neighbourhood in Singapore. Purposefully designed to model after an Ikea catalogue, the zine toys with the idea of re-selling abandoned furniture to the neighbourhood’s new residents. The tongue-in-cheek concept is inspired by the Singaporean way of life, with furniture being named after Singlish words that depicts a possible Singaporean family scenario that it could be used in.
